Factorizing closed string scattering into open strings

This paper establishes mathematical relationships to express closed string scattering amplitudes in terms of products of amplitudes involving open strings and a single closed string. Through complex variable transformations, closed string amplitudes with $n$ points are shown to factorize into combinations of amplitudes with $n-2$ open strings and one closed string. Explicit expressions are provided for 4-, 5-, and 6-point cases. More general $n$-point relations are also formulated. Possible correction terms from contour integration are addressed, which become negligible in field theory limits.
