Gravitating global monopole with nonminimal curvature coupling
This paper investigates how a global monopole's properties change when it is allowed to couple nonminimally to spacetime curvature. Analytical solutions are obtained for the gravitational field equations. Within approximations, the impact on the monopole's core structure, mass, radius, and exerted gravitational force are analyzed. A black hole carrying this nonminimal monopole charge is also studied, examining consequences for its horizons and geodesic particle motions.
