Conformal anomalies in maximal six-dimensional conformal supergravity
This paper computes the conformal anomalies in 6-dimensional (2,0) conformal supergravity by direct calculation of the component fields. The key new results are the type-B anomaly coefficients for the gravitino and 3-form fields, along with their explicit quadratic actions on certain backgrounds. The graviton's Lagrangian is shown to be essentially the Q-curvature. When coupled to 26 copies of the (2,0) tensor multiplet, the full theory is confirmed to be free of conformal anomalies, matching expectations. The conformal anomalies for the (1,0) truncation are also derived and shown to match recently computed chiral anomaly polynomials.
